seven planet is building the brand to save the planet.  To help get there the company is partnering with a finite set of what they call mindful suppliers.  These are companies that build and create products that are working to be as green and sustainable as they can be and that also support the mission of mindful commerce.

Mindful commerce is a way of thinking and consuming.  It is the belief that one should only consume when they are in need of something and if they are in need of a product they will work to purchase the most mindful product available to them.

Sameunderneath is the first seven planet mindful supplier and was founded on the principle that we are all the same and that everyone should seek to find the things that we have in common as a way of life.  They produce amazing clothing and apparel items and are well regarding in the Pacific Northwest as one of the best small clothing companies around and they have been building their company to be sustainable from day one.

seven planet is currently researching and evaluating potential mindful suppliers for their energy silo.  This silo is a critical one in the long term as it will provide patrons with alternative energy and energy conservation options.  Energy is also a key silo as every day we need to consume a certain amount of energy to simply get by, therefore finding viable product options to help our patrons improve the environment are very important.

seven planet is pleased to announce that they have Arico Foods as their initial mindful supplier in the food silo.  Arico Foods is a manufacturer of health snack foods including cookies, snack bars and chips (no potato, but rather cassava chips).

Arico is a wonderful company that since its founding has been working to provide healthy alternatives for snacking.  Many of their products are gluten and wheat free and utilize organic ingredients.  As a company they were the first carbon neutral gluten free snack food company in the United States.

Arico is committed to both excellent products that taste great, but also to the environment and have been since early in the company’s history.  seven planet is pleased to represent Arico Foods and their mindful snacking products.
