Russian River Foods
Friday, July 31st, 2009Hi, my name is Ken Alary, the owner of Russian River Fine Foods; I have been in the culinary industry for over 20 years, and have a culinary degree from the California Culinary Academy. In the mid 90’s I was in Redwood City, California, I taught cooking classes there for two years while executive chef at Encore Performance Catering. From there I was the executive chef at the Powerhouse Brewing Co. in Sebastopol, California, and at Lisa Hemingway’s Bistro in Santa Rosa, California. In 2004, I started Russian River Fine Foods. I have always felt that “sauces are what make a meal.” They add visual appeal, while enhancing and complimenting the flavors of the food as well as increasing the complexity and enjoyment of the entire experience. I believe there will always be a demand for new food products. People’s tastes are vastly unique, and there is a desire to experience innovative flavors like Chipotle Ketchup, as well as updated traditional products like Smokey River Barbeque Sauce.
