New seven planet Store Coming to Portland
seven planet Oregon, our newest retail location, is slated to open September 12, 2009 in Portland, Oregon. This will be the 2nd green general store opened in the past 12 months, and will be our urban flagship location. seven planet is building the world’s first chain of green general stores, beginning with our landmark store in rural Priest River, Idaho. The company has plans for future stores in both rural and urban locations.
The 3,000 square foot store will be located on the corner of NW 4th and Couch St. in Old Town Portland. The historic building will be renovated to host the green general store, which will reflect the interior of a seven planet House. A seven planet House is a home that commits to making the vast majority of their necessity-based product and service purchases through seven planet to help encourage mindful commerce.
In turn, seven planet Oregon will reflect the plethora of sustainable and effective products and services available now through seven planet and our mindful suppliers. The store opening will be celebrated in conjunction with a festival for local businesses in the Old Town area.
